APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR LSV MENTOR PROGRAM

Calling all 18-25 year olds, are you interested in developing current and learning new leadership skills? Applications are now open for LSV’s Mentor Program.

Through the program you’ll be matched with a mentor and attend professional development seminars to develop skills in goal setting and to help in future leadership roles.

The program involves 5 workshops from October 2019 to March 2020 each covering a different topic.

Expressions of interest are also open for anyone interested in being a mentor in the program. 

Applications are due by Sunday 25th of August. 

Dates: Thursday October 3rd, Wednesday October 23rd, Wednesday November 27th, Early February date TBC, Wednesday March 11th, all sessions running from 6:30pm to 9pm, approximately

APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR LSV UNDER 18 DEVELOPMENT CAMP

Are you 16 or 17 years old and interested in meeting new people from life saving clubs across Victoria? If so applications are now open for the 2019 Under 18 Leadership Development Camp.

The camp is held over 3 days and involves activities designed to give participants the opportunity to learn new leadership skills and develop relationships with peers from other clubs in Victoria.

Applications are due by Sunday 29th of September.

Requirements: Must be 16 or 17 years old during camp dates

Dates: Friday 22nd of November to Sunday 24th of November

Location: Angahook Holiday Camp, Aireys Inlet

FEMALE LEADERSHIP NETWORK SESSION: ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP

Open to all members over 18 years who are interested in developing skills in managing and leading change.

The adaptive leadership framework provides a template of how to exercise leadership, overcome challenges including competing commitments of individuals and groups in order to manage change and learn from conflicts.

The session will be lead by guest speaker Julie Adhern, an experienced facilitator and coach in the skills and mindset required to be an adaptive leader.

Registration required by Wednesday 25th of September.
