PART-TIME BRONZE PROGRAM OUTLINE
The Part Time Bronze will involve multiple theory sessions in person over October and November. In these theory sessions, we will discuss surf awareness, basic first aid and resuscitation techniques as well as communication skills used on the beach. These sessions will be an opportunity to ask questions and develop core skills that will be necessary whilst on patrol at Portsea’s back beach.
We will have one in person on Saturday 20th Nov 2021 – 9am – 5pm at Portsea back beach, where we will learn surf rescue techniques and undergo core fitness assessment that underpins the Bronze Medallion award.
