First Aid training gives you the confidence to step in to help when an emergency occurs. The action you take by responding straight away, could save a life or prevent a person suffering permanent disability.
This course will:
- Provide participants with the skills and knowledge to manage an emergency first aid situation until professional support arrives, including:
- Resuscitation (CPR)
- The Human Body
- Bleeding
- Respiratory Emergencies
- Medical Conditions
- Head and Spinal Injuries
- Fractures and Dislocations
- Temperature Emergencies
- Poisoning & Envenomation
Participants will gain Units of Competency HLTAID009: Provide CPR; HLTAID10: Provide Basic Emergency Life Support; HLTAID11: Provide First Aid
Pre-requisites:
- Minimum 14 years old on the day of final assessment
