ADVANCED RESUSCITATION TECHNIQUES (ART)
The ART Certificate enables candidates to acquire the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment for provisioning resuscitation and oxygen therapy in a range of complex situations, in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
This course will:
- Provide participants with the skills and knowledge to use oxygen resuscitation, bag-valve-mask and suction equipment in an emergency, including:
- Resuscitation (CPR)
- The Human Body
- Advanced Resuscitation Techniques
Participants will gain Unit of Competency HLTAID009: Provide CPR; HLTAID15: Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Therapy
Pre-requisites:
- Minimum 15 years old on the day of final assessment
