Understanding the ocean is very important – the more you know about how waves, wind and tides affect conditions in the water, the better able you are to keep yourself safe, or even rescue others, from danger.

- Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled patrol to help with setup/changeover.
- Patrol Change over occurs at 1:30pm.
- Afternoon patrol arrive by 1:00pm.
- Patrol finishes at 5pm or 6pm.
- Pack up will then take place so please allow an extra 30mins after the finish time of patrol.
