WOMEN LEADERS IN SPORT GRANT
Applications for the Australian Sports Commission Women Leaders in Sport Program are now open. The program involves a 2 day leadership workshop, aimed to enable women developing leadership skills and provide an opportunity to network with like-minded women. There is potential to receive a grant of up to $3000 to support course and training fees. The two Melbourne workshops run on the 29th of February to the 1st of March 2020 or the 30th to the 31st of May 2020.
Applications are due by 5pm on 23rd of September.
The program and grant applications are open to women aged 18 years or older, who are actively involved at Portsea SLSC.
SLSA NATIONAL LEADERSHIP COLLEGE 2020 – APPLICATIONS OPEN
Applications for the 2020 National Leadership College are now open. This program is aimed at potential future leaders within surf lifesaving, who are highly motivated and interested in learning about leadership. Participants will be involved in activities, seminars and challenges with a focus on building leadership skills and encouraging personal growth.
The NLC program runs from the 2nd to the 8th of February 2020 in Sydney. Applicants must be aged between 20 and 30 years old on 1st of February. All applications are rigorously screened with only 30 participants selected across Australia.
Applications are due by 14th of October.
LSV U18 DEVELOPMENT CAMP
Eligible for 16 or 17 years old and interested in meeting new people from life saving clubs across Victoria. The camp is held from the 22nd to the 24th of November (Friday to Sunday) at Aireys Inlet and will be comprised of activities designed to give participants the opportunity to learn new leadership skills and develop relationships with peers from other clubs in Victoria. Eligible applicants must be 16 or 17 years old during the camp dates.
Applications are due by 29th of September.
